Amsterdam, 18 March 2025 - From May 29 to June 1, 2025, the tenth edition of FIBER Festival will take place in Amsterdam: a meeting place for everyone interested in contemporary audiovisual art, experimental electronic music, and daring conversations in relation to technological developments and societal issues. This anniversary year centers on the theme of Wildness, exploring the need for rewilding in our environments and in our ways of thinking. Today, the festival also unveils its first names: Acidic Male, Diane Mahín, Heinali & Andriana-Yaroslava Saienko, Jenny Hval, LEYA, Navid Navab, Vica Pacheco.
Founded in 2011, FIBER has grown into a platform for artistic research and innovative experiences. From club nights to installation art and intimate concerts: FIBER connects makers and audiences around technological developments, ecological concerns, and social issues.
At a time when ecosystems are under pressure and the need to reconnect with our surroundings is growing, FIBER Festival 2025 poses the question: What does rewilding mean today? The theme of Wildness explores how art, music, and research reflect on rewilding; not only as an ecological concept but also as a way to reshape ourselves and our societies. How can we practice, embody, and rediscover wildness?
More program highlights and artists will be announced in the coming weeks. Early bird tickets are now on sale.
