FIBER Festival is delighted to unveil the first artists and speakers for its 11th edition, taking place 28-31 May 2026 across 9 cultural venues in Amsterdam. Dedicated to forward-thinking music and artistic productions in the field of digital culture, the festival explores urgent societal matters through cutting-edge technology and multisensory experiences. The festival programme unites concerts and audiovisual performances, interdisciplinary art, symposium and club nights.
For the 2026 edition, FIBER explores the theme Fragile Forces as a way of thinking about vulnerability not only as something that can break, but also as a source of collective strength. What does it mean to listen, perform, and create in relation to fragility? And when something appears beyond repair, what kinds of resilience might still emerge? Following last year’s theme Wildness, which addressed acceleration and the need for artistic and social rewilding, this edition invites visitors to slow down, take a breath, and reflect on quieter forms of resistance.
The first wave of the music programme features 13 sensory live sets, audiovisual performances and DJ sets by internationally revered acts and upcoming talents, including the likes of Kara-Lis Coverdale (Live), Abdullah Miniawy Trio (Live), Batu (DJ), Flore (DJ), KUNTARI (Live), Slowfoam (Live), Xenia Reaper (Live), mesocosm (Live A/V), Trois-Quarts Taxi System (Live), eoobe (Live), Formella (DJ), LNR (DJ) and Remma (DJ). Many more acts will be announced in the upcoming weeks.
On the festival opening evening on Thursday 28 May, the double bill listening session with Trois-Quarts Taxi System and Xenia Reaper at murmur enmeshes the audience in hypnotic and textural soundscapes.
On Friday 29 May, Orgelpark is set to echo by an immersive and delicate concert of the acclaimed electronic composer and organist Kara-Lis Coverdale, and more to be announced. Later at night, Garage Noord erupts for an extended club night with forward-thinking sets by DJs such as Remma, Flore, LNR, and many more still to be announced.
The music programme of Saturday 30 May starts at de Brakke Grond, and continues with an extended night full of performances and DJ sets TILLATEC, where live performances and experimental electronic music live performances and experimental electronic music move across multiple rooms and shifting energies, including live sets by mesocosm, Slowfoam and eoobe, followed by club sounds into the early morning with Timedance label head Batu, Formella, and additional artists to be announced.
FIBER Festival 2026 culminates at BIMHUIS on Sunday 31 May with a double bill featuring two formidable acts: Abdullah Miniawy Trio and KUNTARI. Embodying the 2026 theme Fragile Forces through its two core elements - fragility and force - the evening spans across powerful and emotional middle-eastern infused contemporary jazz of Abdullah Miniawy Trio, and densely rhythmic percussions of Indonesian duo KUNTARI.
